Art Conn is an Emmy-winning costume designer and fashion stylist based in Los Angeles. He is known for bringing bold, camera-ready styles to screens, stages, and red carpets worldwide.

 

With a career spanning TV, film, music videos, and celebrity styling, Art has collaborated with some of the biggest names in entertainment. His TV credits include hit shows like Is It Cake?, Top Chef, Shark Tank, X Factor USA, and most recently Dancing with the Stars. He also styled seven seasons of American Idol, helping to shape the early looks of stars like Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, and Kris Allen.

 

In 2019, Art won a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Costume Design on RuPaul’s Drag Race, where he continues to style judges and guests. He’s also contributed to many Drag Race franchises, including Drag Race UK and Drag Race Down Under, and styled RuPaul for the award winning cover of Entertainment Weekly.

 

In the music world, Art has styled for Madonna, P!nk, George Michael, Maroon 5, Wilson Phillips, and Lenny Kravitz—contributing to everything from world tours to iconic music videos. He is honored to have outfits he created in both the Hard Rock Museum and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He also styled Bonnie Raitt for her induction at the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony. 

 

Art’s other celebrity styling clients include Michelle Visage, Rebecca Romijn, and Jerry O’Connell. His work has been featured in Life & Style Magazine, Celebuzz, People Magazine, and campaigns for companies like Apple, Skechers, Maui Hair Care, and Mandalay Bay.

 

He has appeared as a fashion expert on The Today Show, MTV News, Ricki Lake, The Tyra Banks Show, and Good Day NY. Beyond the camera, Art has served as a national spokesperson for TJ Maxx and Marshall’s and was honored with Torrid’s House of Dreams “Dream Maker” Award for his work in plus-sized fashion.
